For most sports fans in Malaysia, watching a match with a bet on the line are two experiences that simply go hand in hand. It's not just about winning or losing — it's about feeling directly involved in every moment of the game, every goal, every comeback that changes everything.
This is where ink789 steps in with a different approach. The ink789 sports betting platform is built not for occasional bettors, but for those who genuinely follow sports seriously. Every feature — from how markets are displayed to the bet confirmation process — is designed to help you make decisions quickly and with confidence.
Malaysian football fans have known it for years — the Malaysia Premier League, FA Cup, and Harimau Malaya matches are the most anticipated events of the year. ink789 covers all of them with complete markets, including Asian handicap, over/under, and competitive odds updated every minute before kick-off.
The live betting (in-play) feature at ink789 is one of the most popular among active members on the platform. Picture this: you're watching a match and the team you're backing is trailing 0-1 at the 60th minute. With your own eyes, you can see the momentum beginning to turn — your team is starting to dominate and the opposing goalkeeper looks under pressure. With ink789 live betting, you can react to what you're seeing in real time, rather than relying solely on pre-match data.

Esports and local sports — exclusive ink789 markets
Malaysia is a nation with a rich sporting culture. We have an extraordinary badminton legacy — from Datuk Lee Chong Wei to a new generation like Lee Zii Jia and Ng Tze Yong, who now carry the nation's hopes at every tournament. It is this spirit that ink789 aims to capture through comprehensive badminton betting markets, covering the Malaysia Open, All England, and BWF Tour events throughout the year.
Esports is a truly new phenomenon for the Malaysian gaming community. Most betting platforms have been slow to embrace esports seriously, but ink789 recognised the potential of this market long ago. Mobile Legends Bang Bang — a title where Malaysia boasts many competitive teams followed passionately by local fans — is supported with comprehensive betting markets at ink789.
DOTA 2, Counter-Strike 2, and League of Legends each have their own dedicated coverage. Esports players who actively follow meta developments and team performance actually hold a significant edge in making esports betting decisions compared to conventional sports. ink789 provides a platform that lets them put that knowledge to use.

A quick guide from the ink789 member community to help you make more informed betting decisions.
Before placing a bet, review the recent form of the team or athlete, results from previous head-to-head meetings, and factors such as key player injuries.
Decide on the amount you are comfortable spending on betting before the day begins. Stick to that limit regardless of match conditions or how you feel.
Every market has its own characteristics. Asian handicap differs from 1X2 — make sure you understand how each market works before placing a bet.
One of the most common mistakes is increasing your bets to "chase" losses. This is a high-risk approach that rarely pays off.
The cash out feature at ink789 is a handy tool — use it to lock in profits or limit losses when the match situation shifts.
Betting on sports you genuinely follow gives you an edge over random betting. In-depth knowledge is your greatest asset in sports betting.
